Mechanical Design
Hardware is designed with the aid of the latest Solidworks technology, enabling comprehensive analysis to be performed if necessary. The CAD system supports design reviews by providing clear illustrations of the models. Once the design is complete, files can be downloaded to machine tools to manufacture parts, and BOMs and build documentation are produced directly from the design data.

Electrical and Controls Development
We have worked with PLC equipment from all the major providers, including Siemens, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi and Omron to produce control systems suitable for CFR21:11 compliance. Our experienced team have also developed sophisticated servo systems from very small [link to wire weld article] to large systems for control of hydraulic pressing operations.
Many of our automated systems have required interfaces with factory SCADA networks and have provided data interfaces with other equipment.

Robot Programming
We have formed strategic partnerships with ABB and Toshiba Machine. These partnerships allow us to draw on the experience of the robot manufacturers to provide integrated systems to meet customer’s needs.
With robots ranging from ABB’s larges, capable of handling 700Kg to Toshiba’s smallest, with a working envelope the size of an A3 sheet, we can provide robotic systems for almost any challenge.

Assembly
We have a spacious, modern, air-conditioned assembly workshop that is equipped for panel builds, sub-assembly production and complete production system construction and running for acceptance testing before shipping.
Our mechanical and electrical assembly team are able to make use of machining and fabrication facilities for development parts during prototyping and evaluation phases of projects.

Project Management
We are experienced at providing products and automated equipment to pharmaceutical, medical device, automotive and other industries with strict project controls and documentation procedures. We would apply similar principles to all projects, although in some cases the volume of paperwork may be smaller.
For all our projects we ensure:
• A clear understanding of your challenges is established early, through feasibility and design studies to establish an accurate scope and cost.

Commissioning and Installation
Our commissioning team are accustomed to working in many different industries, and have installed products and equipment across the globe. They are available to install and commission equipment, and provide support and training via telephone, internet and on site

Machining and Fabrication
We have a workshop and manufacture parts for development projects and are able to modify components for quick turnaround. In addition, our location in the Cambridge technology cluster provides a wealth of highly skilled local suppliers.
